Common questions and how to get help.
When a tab hasn't been active for your configured timeout (default 30 minutes), the extension discards it from memory. The tab remains in your tab bar and reloads instantly when you click on it.
No. Suspended tabs keep their URL and title — they just aren't loaded in memory. Click any suspended tab to restore it instantly. Your browsing session is preserved.
Tabs currently playing audio, tabs that are loading, pinned tabs, and any domains you add to your whitelist will never be suspended. You can also use Pro domain rules to set custom behavior per site.
Pro adds domain-specific rules (custom timeout per site), suspension schedule (only suspend during work hours), advanced RAM stats with hourly breakdown, session manager (save & restore tab groups), cloud sync, and custom keyboard shortcuts.
Log in to your PayPal account → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments → find Tab Suspender Pro → Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period.
Right-click the extension icon on any tab and choose "Never suspend this site", or go to Settings → Whitelist and add the domain manually.
